June 18, 2011 (Saturday) It was raining in the morning. But that doesn't stop us from going to the eagerly awaited place to visit, Universal Studios Singapore (USS). Located within Resorts World Sentosa, USS shares the land with a casino, Resort World Convention Centre, restaurants as well as retails outlets such as Hard Rock Cafe. Me and my friends were there as early as 8.45am because we wanted to get the best pictures on the Universal Studios globe at the entrance of the park without people surrounding it. We bought the tickets through online at S$72 (One Day Peak Pass) one month earlier to avoid queuing up at the counter and possibility that the tickets might sold out especially during weekend. By 9.30am, people were already crowded in front of the gate. Once open (at 10.00am), we were so excited to get into it and walk around the area. March 20, 2011 (Sunday) Early in the morning, after a light breakfast, my friends and I were heading to the Forbidden City, situated in the middle of Beijing. It took less than an hour drive to the largest ancient imperial palace in the world from our hotel. Once arrived, our bus stopped a bit far from the entrance because the road were full of buses and cars parked on both sides of the road. With cold weather around 8°C, the place was crowded with foreigners and locals. Most people were busy snapping photos. Historically, the palace was constructed from 1406 to 1420. It consists of nine hundred and eighty buildings with eight thousand seven hundred and seven bays of rooms. It serves as a representation of traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has been an influence of cultural and architectural development in Asia. July, 2007 From Kuala Terengganu, we took a boat to the Island. And it took more than one hour to reached the Redang Island. On our way, I got to see the Turtle Island (the island structure looks like a turtle). On the Island, besides doing activitiy like snorkeling, I lay on the beach, enjoy the view and the water most of the time. That soft white sand and clear blue water just the right place to escape especially from work stress. So relaxing.                                           

April 17, 2010 (Saturday) Woke up at 3.00 a.m., my friends and I were prepared to continue our journey to the viewpoint at Mount Penanjakan, to witnessed the most well known Mount Bromo and other volcanoes during sunrise. By taking the jeep tour, we moved at 3.30 a.m. and took around 45 minutes to 1 hour to reached the viewpoint. On the way to the viewpoint, there was nothing much to see as the surrounding was dark and the air temperature was about 5 °C with a high wind at that time. At the viewing platform, many people were very excited waiting for the sun to rise. Everyone were looking for a  secure spot in the already crowded deck.  C ameras were checked to get the best shot of the view.  Not only the foreigners were eagerly waited for that moment but the locals also were enjoying the scenery.  After seeing enough of the views, we headed to the Mount Bromo.  At 8.00 a.m., we arrived at the lower slope of the Mount Bromo. March 7, 2009 (Saturday)  At about 8.30 a.m.,  I was standing in front of the SWFC, one of the tallest building in the world. It was cold (about 7 °C ) and windy at that time. We were lucky to get the entrance ticket   fast as we were there early. Although we got the ticket, we still have to wait for our turn to get into the building.  As time reached at 9.00 a.m., the line at the ticket counter became longer, filled with people especially tourists. Once we were inside the building, we were being led to a dark room. I was wondering why we were taken to the dark room. And I believe other people were thinking the same thing too. One of the officer told us to look at the ceiling. And numbers appeared on the ceiling. The officer explained that it's the lift level indicator. I was so fascinated with the idea and design.
