Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), China

March 7, 2009 (Saturday)
At about 8.30 a.m., I was standing in front of the SWFC, one of the tallest building in the world. It was cold (about 7°C) and windy at that time. We were lucky to get the entrance ticket fast as we were there early. Although we got the ticket, we still have to wait for our turn to get into the building. As time reached at 9.00 a.m., the line at the ticket counter became longer, filled with people especially tourists.
Once we were inside the building, we were being led to a dark room. I was wondering why we were taken to the dark room. And I believe other people were thinking the same thing too. One of the officer told us to look at the ceiling. And numbers appeared on the ceiling. The officer explained that it's the lift level indicator. I was so fascinated with the idea and design.

At the observatory deck, 100th floor of the building, I got to view Shanghai, Jin Mao Tower, Oriental Pearl Tower and Huang Pu River.

Fabulous Shanghai experience.
